Adding Content from Template Courses
Our pre-built course templates offer a flexible foundation. You can easily integrate any of our units or lessons to create a completely customized learning experience.
Once logged in, you'll select the course within Stukent CTE (formally BusinessU) you would like to customize content into.
Within the course, you will Click + Add Content and navigate to Courses.
Users will receive a full list of available content to them from our template course content. Select which course you would like to add materials from.
Users are then presented with a split-screen view: the template course for copying content on the left, and their destination course on the right. They can select the specific semesters for both the source and destination of the copied materials.
Drag and drop what materials you would like added to your course and where you would like to place them. Rest assured, you can always move them at a later time.
To Copy Content
Once logged in, you can copy content provided through our materials to other courses you have available. You can also copy your custom content into your courses.
Once logged in, you'll select the course within Stukent CTE (formally BusinessU) you would like to copy content from.
Click the three dots next to the content you would like to be copied, then Click Copy to the Class or Copy to all Classes. This feature is great if you have built out your course and would like to copy the materials into multiple periods.
Within this window, users will select which course they would like this content to be copied to. Please keep in mind, that users can only copy materials for the same subject. e.g. Copying materials from Introduction to Business can only be copied into another Introduction to Business course.
To add Custom Content
Once you've created custom content, you can copy or add the material into your course at any time.
Once logged in, you'll select the course within Stukent CTE (formally BusinessU) you would like to add custom content to.
Click + Add Content and Click My Content
Users can select custom content on the left and choose where to insert the materials within the Topics of the course.
FAQs
How can I share my course content with another teacher at my school?
Adding the teacher as a Co-Teacher in any course will allow them to then copy your materials into their courses. Alternatively, users can also create a template of a course and share it with other teachers.
Why are my updates on copied materials not applying to all courses?
Users will want to make any final changes to the content before copying it into any other courses. Once the information is copied, you will need to recopy it to have any changes applied.
