This information is for District IT administrators only.
In order to integrate BusinessU with Canvas, a member of your district IT team will need to contact BusinessU support and request a link to setup your district with Canvas. If they haven't done this yet, have them contact support.
BusinessU has recently merged with Stukent and will be rebranded as Stukent CTE. As part of this merger, the website will no longer be accessible from app.businessu.org and will instead be accessible from app.cte.stukent.com.
Because of this, if you have a Canvas API integration already configured, you will need to update it to support our new domain before July 1, 2025.
You might want to re-read the original setup instructions to re-familiarize yourself with this process. It's important to note that the Stukent CTE Canvas integration is an API integration, not a LTI integration.
Follow the steps below to perform this update:
After you've logged in as an administrator, head to the administration section and open the Developer Keys tab. This should be similar to how you would setup a LTI integration.
Find your existing BusinessU key in the table, and click on the Pencil icon at the far right of the page to edit the existing integration.
If you cannot find the existing integration, please reach out to Stukent CTE support as they will need to provide you with a link to setup a new integration.
Inside the Redirect URIs field, add a new line for the Stukent CTE domain. Once you are done, the field should have this text inside it:
https://app.businessu.org
https://app.cte.stukent.com
...and it should look like this:
Do not remove the app.businessu.org entry from the Redirect URIs field.
If you do not have both entries inside the Redirect URIs field, your existing Canvas integration will break.
Once you have updated the Redirect URIs, click the Save button at the bottom-right.
We're finished!
Your Canvas integration is now ready for the Stukent CTE transition.
