Below is a list of the technical requirements for the best possible experience running BusinessU. If you don’t meet one of these requirements, the website may still work fine, but you may encounter some odd issues here and there. If you do, please let us know and we’ll be happy to look into it!
Screen Size: BusinessU is best viewed at a minimum of 1024 x 768 pixels. If you have a smaller screen, the website should adapt automatically.
Web Browsers: BusinessU is designed to work on the latest versions of modern web browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge). The BusinessU website does not require any browser plugins to run, or require you to install any additional software on your computer.
Specifically, we support the following versions of popular browsers:
Chrome - the most recent 5 versions.
Edge - we only support the modern, Chromium-based version of Edge. We support the most recent 5 major versions.
Firefox - the most recent 5 versions.
Safari - the most recent 2 major versions.
BusinessU does not support Internet Explorer. Microsoft stopped active development of Internet Explorer in January 2016. If you would like to use BusinessU and you currently use Internet Explorer, we would highly suggest you find a more modern alternative like Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox. If you are required to use a Microsoft browser, we suggest Microsoft Edge.
When working with BusinessU on an older machine, you will experience the best results if your machine is less than 5 years old.
If you have a Firewall enabled, you should not need to open access to anything besides the https://businessu.org domain.
