If you are missing an assignment within your Gradebook, we first recommend checking your Settings on this assignment.
How to Check the Grade Settings on your Assignment
Once logged in and within your course, users will select the assignment they would like to check.
Select Settings.
Here, users will check if the Exclude from Gradebook setting is checked. This will remove the item from the Gradebook and the overall total grade for the course.
To add the assignment to the Gradebook, users will deselect Exclude from Gradebook and select Save Changes.
How to Check if the Assignment is Enabled or Disabled
One of the other things you can check is if the Assignment is disabled. When disabling an Assignment, you have the option to remove the assignment and keep the grades or remove the assignment and the grades. Keep in mind, once this is re-enabled, those grades will re-appear.
Once logged in and within your course, users will select the assignment they would like to check.
Select Settings.
Here, users will check if the assignment is Enabled with the Green Checkmark or Disabled with the Red X.
Toggle the Assignment on to Re-Enable the Assignment. If you would like remove student access to the materials, you can Lock the Assignment. More information can be found here on locking assignments.
