Why would assignments need to be reset?

In the Stukent CTE platform, when a student misses an assignment by the due date, it is automatically graded as a zero. However, if the instructor still wants the student to complete it, the assignment would need to be reset.

How to Reset an Assignment

  1. Go to the activity/assignment that needs to be reset.

  2. Click on 'All Students' on the left side.

  3. Once it shows a list of students, click the checkbox next to the name(s) of the student(s) who need to be reset for that assignment.

  4. At the top of the student list, click the 'Bulk Actions' dropdown.

  5. Hover over the 'Reset Submissions', and determine which option is most applicable to what is needed from the student:

    1. Reset and Clear Answers: This will reset the submission and grade/comments will be cleared. Their existing answers will NOT be preserved.

    2. Unsubmit: This will reset the submission and grade/comments will be cleared. However, their existing answers will be preserved.

*This will need to be done for individual assignments.
